Opening Hype: Cedar Park is staking its claim in the defense technology boom. Aeon Industrial is relocating its headquarters and manufacturing operations to Cedar Tech I, an $8.5 million investment that brings more than 100 new jobs to the city.

Why It Matters: Aeon, led by founder and CEO Naweed Tahmas, builds vertically integrated defense systems and autonomous targeting software, and it lands as the first tenant in Holt Lunsford Commercial's new Cedar Tech I development off the Austin metro's northwest edge. The arrival hands Williamson County a high-wage employer in a fast-growing sector and cements Cedar Park's pivot toward aerospace, defense, and advanced manufacturing.

Bigger Picture: Aeon's move aligns with the Central Texas Spaceport Development Corporation's vision for a regional space and defense campus and with Plug and Play's new Aerospace & Defense accelerator launching this fall. Cedar Park is shedding its bedroom-suburb reputation and rebuilding its identity around mission-critical innovation, a shift that positions Williamson County as one of Central Texas's emerging defense and space corridors for the decade ahead.

Establish and build the Product Management function for Dell's ISG Lab Services and Operations team, owning the full lifecycle of lab services (infrastructure, hosting, access, data, automation, security, and logistics) as products aligned to engineering needs. You will set roadmaps and performance metrics, drive prioritization and investment decisions, manage service backlogs, and serve as the single point of accountability for what the team delivers and why.

This role requires 15+ years of product management experience, preferably in internal services, enterprise product development, or enterprise IT, along with foundational knowledge of cybersecurity, networking, and data architectures. Demonstrated experience with Agile Scrum at Scale, backlog management, and cross-functional work across engineering and operations is essential, with a bachelor's degree and hands-on background in one or more service domains preferred. This is an on-site role based in Round Rock, TX.

This is a pretty cool feature they just released that builds internal team apps based on your data.

For now it’s only on teams or enterprise plans, but I assume this will become a full system soon that you can build complete apps easily inside of Codex, similar to Lovable or Replit.

Codex has become my primary AI tool the last month or two, and stuff like this is what likely will keep me there.

Claude did just release dynamic workflows this week, which I need to play with because it sounds amazing as well.
